這首Do you hear the people sing? 也相當振奮人心的曲目

以上是悲慘世界10周年音樂會版本

這首歌是在革命戰爭前一天所唱

是在馬里歐與珂賽特確認彼此心意之前就唱了

我沒看過原本的音樂劇

因此推測應該是前一晚革命同仁們聚集於酒館時大家所合唱

但是在電影版中

這首的演唱卻是在革命當天(拉馬克將軍葬禮時)

人民與革命士一起演唱

電影原聲帶版本:

這樣的安排反而更能表達人民們一同想反抗

想獲得自由的心聲

覺得導演這樣安排真是有其道理

讓人更喜歡這首歌了!

尤其在整個劇情結尾

這首又再度出現了:

整個大合唱真的很棒啊~~
